Generally, people with extra weight are at risk of getting infected with this disease. The most serious thing is that the fatty liver is one of the reasons for liver cirrhosis and liver cancer.

The information came out in a joint study by the researchers of the University of Florida at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), the Bardem General Hospital and the Florida University of America. Assistant Professor of BSMM's Lever Division Md. On Thursday night, these information was presented in a scientific seminar titled 'The Fatty Liver Influence and Facts in Bangladesh' on the occasion of celebrating the first International 'Nash' Day at CIRDAP Auditorium.

The research team conducts research studies on the prevalence of fatty liver disease or liver fats in two city corporations of Dhaka and four district and 4 upazilas of the country's four largest divisions. For this study, data collection was done from December 2015 to January of the year 2017. 2 thousand 782 healthy and normal working people participated in this research program. Among them 1 thousand 694 men and 1 888 women. Participants were 18 to 85 years old and their average age was 34 years.

Studies have shown that at the most risk, the obese women in rural areas (73.11 percent) In addition, 71 percent of diabetes and 63 percent of high blood pressure sufferers have a prevalence of fat disease. Moreover, 64 percent of obesity sufferers are affected. As the age increases, the lever increases the risk of fat disease.

In addition to obesity, 10.77 and about 2.17 times more people with diabetes can increase the risk of fatty liver disease. Among the marriages, there was more of the prevalence of liver fat fatalities.

In the research, it is said that the average rate of attacking people higher than the lower income is about one and a half times. But there is no difference in the prevalence of males and educational qualifications. Due to dietary changes and lifestyle changes, the incidence of fatty liver disease is increasing day by day.

Speakers at the seminar said that this is the first study where data from the general population of different regions of the country has been collected. Earlier studies were largely based on the hospital. This new lecture will play an important role in reducing leukemia and treating infected people under treatment and reducing liver disease deaths. And by changing the lifestyle of the country through the creation of public awareness, it is possible to prevent fatty liver disease.

Experts further said that liver cirrhosis and liver cancer are one of the main causes of inflammation of fat in the liver. In the field of medical science, it is called stiotohapatitis. This inflammation is caused by excess fat accumulation in the liver or liver. Apart from inflammation, liver fat disease is directly related to decreasing the effectiveness of insulin hormone in heart disease, diabetes and the body. The prevalence of this disease is increasing in Bangladesh at an alarming rate.
