It truly amazes me to see how far the amazing art of cake making and decorating has evolved over the years. We have a local bakery here that has become famous for the amazing cake creations, often creating things built a meter high, amazing dioramas for events and teams and weddings. It is amazing how they can create so many textures from sugar and cake to mimic all kinds of real things from grass to stone to leather and everything in between. I have seen shiny metal, when they made a sword in the stone, and it looked photo realistic, and was fully edible and amazing.
