"Steemit Engagement Challenge S24/W4: Date Cake"

Welcome everyone to my blog on the Steemit Engagement Challenge S24/W4 and thank your organizer of this course @m-fdo for giving us the opportunity to pass the baking courses so far in week 4.

I'm @jollymonoara from Bangladesh . Cakes made with dates were quite a joy to me as every tips and tricks of making learning course cakes were described so beautifully that students every step of making cakes easier.Excellent initiative that has provided opportunities for us was our lovely learning teacher @m-fdo , she has described every step and every photo in detail with her skill and patience.

Dates and Nuts Make Moist Cake is a particularly British baking tradition's treat. Date cake item found quite popular in Australia, New Zealand and other countries, particularly Asia countries.This cake is also very popular in Sri Lanka, where they make fruit cakes traditionally. Date bread or date cake they enjoy various holidays celebrations.

Dates grow in tropical regions, especially deserts in Africa and the Middle East, especially Saudi Arabia deserts, and western countries.Dried fruit, its calorie content is higher than other fruits, it is rich in vitamins and minerals. Dates taste very sweet which is the source of natural sugar i.e. fructose juice.It's a healthy alternative source instead of white sugar.

  • Dates are not just ingredients for making a gift or dessert item, but for us the gift of the Creator himself.

Cake is loved by many especially kids love to eat cake along with I love to eat cake. . .It is possible to make a very tasty attractive cake using the ingredients Dates, and other ingredients make the date cake, and the cake lover, the health conscious people who will all love to eat this date cake.


Date cake is made with a special ingredient that is very tasty and nutritious a cake for everyone.This cake-making base dates paste. Tannins are usually neutralized to reduce the bitterness of the taste by soaking the dates with hot water or hot milk or liquid tea with baking soda to soften the dates, making them a moist cake.


⭐️1 . Make the given recipe in detail with step by step pictures. Include your name tag with the date at the final presentation of the recipe. ⁇

To complete the knowledge of making this cake, I have completed the process of making ribbon cake step by step by step with the ideas of making the cake in the challenge and all the ingredients of making this cake will be required

In the first step I packed up every cake-making ingredient and took the butter out of the fridge and put it in the room temperature. And at this stage I measured the flour, sugar and butter measurement scale and set it aside.


Step 1


1.In the first stage, take the dates in a clean bowl and remove the pits from inside the dates, then cut the dates into small pieces .IMG_E1946.JPG


Step 2


Now take half a spoonful of sodium by carbonate and 160ml of warm liquid tea, pour it over the cut dates, then mix it with a spoon and put it on a side for 10 minutes with a lid.

Step 3


In another clean bowl I'll take a light bit of the amount of butter and sugar mixture to make the smooth batter, in this case it must be beaten well and in a slowly, the sugar and butter mixture does not become over beaten.

Step 4


.Now I'll put two eggs in this batter mixture and take a light bit for a minute then add a spoonful of vanilla to it and take a light bit again for a minute. At this stage after adding vanilla it will add an extra aroma and flavor.

Step 5


I added a spoonful of baking powder with flour to the dough and then mixed it well with a spoon.Then take a minute to sift with a mixture of cake batter with a sieve and beat well .Pour the mixture of dates and tea and mix well.

Step 6


At this point I'll take a cake pan and brush oil on paper and put it on top of it with cake butter, and for a minute I'll tap the cake batter's bowl a little to make the air bubbles go away. Then preheat oven 175° centigrade bake for 40 minutes .

40 minutes later when I was checking the cake with a toothpick I had a little liquid in the middle of my cake . so I did bake for another 10 minutes.So. Finally in the 50th minute my cake was well baked. Then I'll remove it from the oven and leave it until it cools down. After a cold I lifted the baking sheet from it and poured the cake on a plate then cut the cake of different sizes as I wished.

At the Cake baking stage I forgot to add nuts so after 20 minutes of cake baking, I spread nuts.

⭐️3 .What difficulties did you encounter while making this recipe?

I've never made a datecake like this with dates and liquid tea before, it's my first experience to make a cake and I've never eaten such a cake before so I had a completely new recipe and an attractive cake. So I didn't have to face any problem while making this cake 'I was a little scared, how about the cake test after making it?

Alhamdulillah, very nice and successful I was able to make cake and my made first date cake was quite spongy and fluffy, and a moist perfect cake.The test and texture were so enticing that I took the taste after eating the cake first bite. this cake I had amazing and tempting and incredibly moist, a rich color and flavor, I was able to make a different and special cake that is different from other cakes.


⭐️4 .Explain the importance of the ingredients you used in making this cake. ⁇

flour

The primary ingredient in cake-making is that it is not possible to make a cake well without cake flour and flour. This dough will form the basic structure of the cake and the cake will become soft fluffy and tender.


Sugar

The cake is delicious to eat and the dessert item is used to bring the sweetness of the cake. Using the cake, the sugar maintains the moisture of the cake. The cake is a moist texture and using the right amount of sugar doubles its taste.


Butter

The use of cake butter adds extra flavor and blooms in a simple way to eat very tasty, soft fluffy texture and adds good flavor. Butter, the cake is moistened, tender and and more moisturized .


Egg

Cakes made with Egg are very tasty to eat and soft , fluffy texture.And eggs act as binders that help hold other ingredients together.


Baking powder

Baking powder is used as a rising agent to make the cake swell well so a cake swells easily. Soft, fluffy texture and cake without baking powder becomes hard .


Vanilla Essence

Use a few drops of vanilla essence to add flavor to the cake.Vanilla Essence has its own aroma that fills the entire cake with its flavor to provide a very flavorful, attractive aroma to eat.Venilla essenceless cake tastes and cake aroma feel boring.


Sodium bicarbonate

Sodium bicarbonate/baking soda reacts quickly to form carbon dioxide which is acid. It acts as a yeast agent for the cake which helps the cake to swell easily and tenderize.Baking soda, cake bake is so good as the cake's better is mixed.Cake is lights and tenderness.


Dates

Flavors of vanilla essence as well as cake when we make cake with dates to get date tasets and nutrients and delicious soft and moist.The cake adds a very nice aroma and flavor, and dates are natural sugar that is very healthy. Dates cake is a very nutritious and healthy dessert as an alternative to sugary cakes.It is so delicious,soft and moist cake .

liquid tea

Usually drink tea but usually soaking dates in warm liquid tea to make this date cake will soften the dates into soft paste and liquid warm tea is used to extract all the benefits.Flavor and aroma completely different.

Almond/cashew

Almond/cashew cakes look very attractive and add nutrients to this cake. Moreover, the nuts extra is a flavor that feels delicious and great to eat.

Apu, you are truly an extraordinary talent. I want to eat the cake you made. It looks tempting. I will try to make a cake at home today by following each step after seeing the cake you made.
