Honey cake
Fabulously delicious cake !! Save, so as not to lose!
Ingredients:
For cake layers:
Eggs - 2 pcs.
Sugar - 200 g
Honey - 2 tbsp. l
Soda - 1 tsp.
Butter - 100 g
Flour - 400-500 g
For impregnation:
Sour cream - 600 g
Sugar - 200 g
Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
Prunes - 150 g
Banana - 1-2 pcs.
Cooking:
- Prepare the dough in a water bath (to do this, we put the pot on fire with a small amount of water and let it boil; we will need to put a bowl of larger diameter over the pan).
- In a bowl, mix eggs, sugar and honey. Add soda and mix.
- Put the mixture in a water bath and warm up, stirring so that the eggs do not coagulate, for 7-10 minutes. Add the butter and stir until the oil is completely dissolved.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and add half of the specified amount of flour. Leave the dough to cool. When the dough has cooled, add the remaining flour in portions. Knead the dough and divide it into 8 parts.
- Heat the oven to 200 ° C. On parchment paper, thinly roll out each ball of dough and cut a circle, putting a plate (plate diameter - 21 cm). We do not remove the cuts, we will bake them together with the cake layers and then use them to decorate the cake. Often we prick the dough with a fork so that it does not swell when baking.
- Bake the cake for 4 minutes in a preheated oven. Cakes are baked very quickly, so you need to follow them. While one cake is baked, roll out the next. So bake all 8 cake layers. Fold on a flat surface.
- Prepare sour cream. Beat cold sour cream, gradually adding sugar and vanillin. For better results, it is better to take sour cream of greater fat content.
- Finely chop the prunes. The banana can also be finely chopped or grated on a coarse grater.
- Putting a cake. Each cake richly grease cream, sprinkle with prunes and banana. So we collect the whole cake, grease it with sour cream on top.
- Cut off the cakes in a blender. If there is no blender, you can grind them with a rolling pin.
- Sprinkle crumbs on top of the cake and decorate the sides. Decorate the cake to taste. Remove the cake for impregnation in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
