I agree, except for spreading algorithmic trading. I am not sure if that's a good. The effect of a large number of trading bots could cause unforeseen disasters. Especially, if certain algorithms start going viral. I have not come across anyone with a clear understanding of how a large number of bots react to each other. It's a complex system that could have unwanted emerging behaviors. I just hope that this emerging behavior is stabilizing.
