Hello, Get Ready For Hardware Training on Phones 1.0 on DTube

in #busy6 years ago

Hello guys,
I have been away for a while and with good reason
Recently I completed my training on hardware parts and repairs of phone as well as softwares and i realized that a lot of people do not have the time, knowledge, money or courage to learn these stuff, because I didn't at first. So now I have decided to share this knowledge with you all starting with hardware.
And i have decided to start a free course online from the basics to teach those who are interested in learning stuff like that for free. I believe its the least i could do for a community which has supported me and this training will be starting on October.
I will be using DTube to post videos as i diagnose and repair phones and will teach about the partswi and connections of a phone as well as break down the terminologies.
It will be challenging but i can bet that we all will have fun and smile at the end of the day. I want to make it exciting but believe me its gonna be very challenging so get prepared while i also get prepared for the training.
As for what you will be needing for this training, there is nothing much and the tools are not very expensive, they can be gotten locally wherever you are. If you are a Nigerian, you can visit any electrical/technological workshop and buy them so the basic things you will be needing (with images to help you identify them)are as follows:
Note: Most (if not all) of these things have price ranges so there is no fixed price

1) A Rework Station Solder Hot Air Blower (or simply Hot Air Blower)

This is probably the most expensive equipment you need in order to really start, they come in different price range from 10,000 naira or $59.99 to 40,000 naira or even more depending on what you want to use it for, but the 10,000 naira rework can pretty much do everything you need plus it comes with a soldering pencil though i suggest you get an extra one and not heavily rely upon the one attached to the rework

You can get one for $59.99 from amazon with the link below

2) Soldering Pencil

This is probably the equipment you will probably be working with mostly (as well as your screwdriver set), it comes in different colors and sizes as well as prices. You can get it for as low as 1000 - 1500 naira but a good soldering pencil should be worth 3000 naira or $9.99 with mouth interchange. This item is indispensable.

3) Screwdriver Set

I do not think i need to write much about the function or importance of this tool. It can be gotten for as low as 1000 naira or $1.74. You will be needed more than one set of screw if you really are gonna be serious about phone hardware/repairs since phones come with a variety of screw heads but getting three should do the trick.
Note: Some screwdriver heads come with different items, like a picker tool or magnifying glass, these peripheral tools are important and i am not going to write about them but i will attach a link at the end of this write-up where you can read about them and see them

4) Solder/Lead, Jumper Wire aka Running Wire (Copper Wire Line)

These are indispensable items used majorly for repair works. The solder can be viewed as a "glue" for connecting electronic parts in a circuit and the copper wire can viewed as an item that can be used to connect parts broken in a circuit, they don't cost much, about 250 naira or $2.

These are the main equipment and tools you will need to start. Of course there are other tools that are very relevant which you also must get, but they are peripheral and many so i will just add a link here so that you can decide yourself which ones you wanna get.

Also you will need a blade, a pair of scissors, magnets, adhesives (T-7000, super glue), paper tape, cello tape etc. But these are peripherals and cheap, and honestly i don't think i should talk about them since they are so common.

Also, you have to get on dtube if you wanna get the most outta this. When I am done, i will try uploading all to my youtube channel for you all to see.

These training will start October so I can get myself fully prepared (as well as give you time to prepare) for this as it will be my first time doing a video tutorial. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did. Thanks
