Bangladesh in space for successful launch

Earlier on 4th May the experimental launch of the new rocket was completed at the Cape Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Although Bangabandhu was supposed to launch a satellite on December 16 last year, but due to the 'Irma' storm and adverse weather conditions in Florida, the new date was fixed on 10 May (Thursday). But on that day, it was suspended for a day 42 seconds before launch.
The expenditure on Bangabandhu satellite is about Tk 2,765 crore. Bangladesh government is giving foreign investment of Taka 908 crore and remaining Tk 1000 crore
On October 21, 2015, the Cabinet Committee on Public Procurement approved the proposal to buy a satellite system. After that, the BTRC signed an agreement with Thalas Elinya Space in France to buy satellite system, which was about two billion taka.
HSBC has signed an agreement with Taka 1,400 crore for the launch of satellite launch last year.
Bangabandhu Satellite is built in Thales Elinya Space Facility of France. After the construction, examination, review and transfer, the special cargo plane has been sent to the launch of the Cape Pavilion.
Geostationary communication satellites weighing three and a half thousand kg weighed in the Falcon-9 orbit with the Bangabandhu satellite, from Kennedy Space Center's historic launch complex 39. From this launch complex in 1969, three astronauts left the moon in Apollo-11 in Chandravavyan.
According to the BTRC, it will take about 20 days to get full control of the Bangabandhu satellite. After the satellite is fully operational, its control will be handed over to the Ground Station of Bangladesh. Gate station of the satellite has been installed in Joydebpur of Gazipur district and at Batbunia of Rangamati.
There are 40 transponders in the Bangabandhu satellite. For the use of 20 of Bangladesh and the rest will be rented. The government hopes that the 14 million dollars spent on the foreign satellite rental, the money will be saved in the Bangabandhu satellite launch.
Through this satellite, there will be 40 services, including DTH (direct-to-home) services, satellite television broadcasts and internet access. Bangabandhu Satellite will not only save foreign currency, but with the unused portion of the country, such as Nepal, Bhutan, income will earn approximately $ 50 million per year. The satellite will be 15 years old.
