PENSIONERS IN CRISIS

in #busy6 years ago
Hello steemians friends, all the dawns at 5 o'clock in the morning, I go out with my life partner to walk an hour for a centric avenue of the city; She is 65 years old, and I am approaching 70. The tour allows us to pass through the front of four banks, and at that time all are crowded with people looking for churups, where the bustle resembles a meeting of children in preschool age. Frederich Nietzsche rightly left us with this thoughtful thought: The maturity of man is to have recovered the serenity with which we played when we were children.

This experience of traveling almost 6 kms in about an hour, allows us to see a great contradiction in streets, and avenues, to find numbers of people who go, and are rushed to reach the destination, before queues are made endless, and it is precisely the bank branches that present a reality that we see throughout the day: pensioners in search of cash. On two occasions we have to go through those places: to go, and to come, but we do not see the flow of people diminish; on the contrary, every day is increasing, despite all the efforts of the government to resolve a situation not favorable for the health of a person, when the forces begin to waver, because the passage of the years, irremediably it is squeezing the being human, and seems to give him extra years; well said the grandmother of a doctor, who forced to reduce so much to repeat a jocular advice: Rafaelito, low, because nobody has seen a chubby old man

The payment of pensions, seems to have injected encouragement to the pensioners, because every day, the streets, and avenues of the cities, where they cancel that right of Venezuelans, have become real human tides. The reasons to see so many people in the street, are several: the cash allows to buy without paying overpriced through the points; but there are also those who see this, as a business; for something they say: Of everything there is in the vineyard of the Lord there are those who live in haste to charge in cash, and sell it to the unscrupulous, greedy, eternal merchants who care little about the country's fortunes, to continue feeding the economic war across the border with Colombia.

Despite these negative experiences in the large family of pensioners, and retired, on the other hand we find people who assume their responsibility, as it should be, and far from attacking the homeland, grab those moments a little unpleasant, as is stop early in the morning at the doors of banks, to pass it, as if it were a real party.

The vast majority of people, who we see at the doors of the banking headquarters, are humble people, almost resigned to spend their last days of life, locked in their home;many of them do not even hear the voice of a descendant, encouraging them to continue facing the vicissitudes of a situation, created precisely by the God of many people, such as money, who only care about opulence, and vanity, like if the world existed, only, and exclusively for them.
