Pond is a water that is deliberately made as a container of aquaculture that is usually located near the beach. Ponds are usually filled with brackish water because the water source near the coast usually tends to be brackish. But there is also a pond that uses sea water / is right on the edge of the sea.


Animals cultivated in ponds are: Milkfish (Chanos chanos), Windu Shrimp (Penaeus monodon), Vanname Shrimp (Penaeus vanname), Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), Mangrove Crab (Scylla serrata).
