Did you know that approximately 93% of all life on earth is in the ocean?

This means that all terrestrial animals are mammals, Plants or insects alone make up a small 7% of all beings that live on our planet - while that 93% that remains is made up of fish, corals and millions of different marine species more

And although 70% of the surface of our planet is made up of water, it is common to believe that we know the ocean very well But the reality is different, because although it seems untrue humans have more accurate maps of the moon and Tuesday than our own seas and oceans

To get an idea of all this, humans only know about 5% of all the world's oceans and scientists claim that there are still 1,000,000 marine species of animals still undiscovered

So there is a possibility that there are creatures that escape our imagination

A proof of this was what happened in 2012 in the Gulf of Mexico, hen a camera at an oil station captured some amazing images of a creature never seen by the human eye

This incredible creature turned out to be a kind of giant jellyfish called ENIGMATICA DEEPSTARIA and although for clear reasons we know almost nothing about it it is believed that it lives at a depth of one thousand to two thousand meters below the surface in the depths of the sea

Speaking of depths Did you know that the average depth of the ocean is 3.7 kilometers? and the deepest place in the oceans is found in the MARIAN islands, is at an incredible distance of 11 kilometers below the surface, not even the largest mountain on the planet, Everest has this height

Maybe there are people who ask this question very often, and it's the Why do not we go and explore our oceans instead of staying on the surface?

But the reality is that for these deep distances there is no sunlight since it only manages to illuminate the ocean 100 meters below the surface leaving the remaining kilometers in eternal darkness, And that is not all, since the pressure in that place is so strong that if a person were found there he would not survive

And did you know that the deeper the fish and animals live in the sea, the size increases considerably?

A clear example of this is the colossal squid who lives in the depths and compared to the version that lives on the surface is giant being able to measure up to 14 meters

Also the giant crab, compared to its close relatives this can reach 4 meters

Another example is the rowing fish that can measure up to 12 meters long

Did you know that around 3 million boats have sunk in the ocean?

This means that these ship wrecks are in the depths of the sea and not only are they garbage, since many of these sunken ships are unimaginable treasures, in fact it is estimated that around 60 billion dollars are lost in the ocean

Because humans pollute the planet at an alarming rate the warming of our planet is imminent since when the temperatures rise the polar ice caps begin to melt and therefore the water level starts to rise today the ocean has risen approximately 20 centimeters compared to as it was 100 years ago and if we continue at this pace, the level could rise to 66 meters

In fact, if we think in detail we will realize that in truth the majority of our planet is submerged in complete darkness and the most chilling thing is that we do not know what is inside it, so we respect the oceans since in this there can be many answers to our questions instead of looking elsewhere
