Gratitude Day 46/62: MY CONFIDENCE IS SET IN GOD

in #busy7 years ago

Many times we stop trusting God because we think that our problems or situations are much bigger than Him and that is not that way. The issue is not to have problems. Everyone, we have problems, we face a problem that surpasses us, it is precisely losing hope. And this should not happen to those of us who have Jesus in our hearts, because precisely, hope is born in the heart. Whenever we do things with faith, we are attacked by the unbeliever. When people become impatient and despair, they lose confidence. This is very bad, because trust and patience are inseparable.
If we lack confidence it is because we are not sufficiently nourished by the Word of God. Trust will be returned to them, making them find peace. It has a strength and authority that every human word lacks, and it contributes greatly to building our trust in God. To foster trust is to perform acts of faith. Faith grows exercising.
For example:
I am about to get nervous, in fifteen days I will undergo a delicate operation, or my son is going through a difficult time, and I say to the Lord: I trust you, I transfer this situation, I know that you will take care of it. I firmly believe in the effectiveness of acts of faith. This is not about a magic wand that makes all problems disappear, but about those small choices of trust and faith that will sooner or later bear fruit. Maybe in ten or twenty years, it does not matter. It is the smallest grain that exists, but once planted ends up becoming almost a tree.
All these acts of faith that seem to be done in vain, because their results are not given immediately, they are like seeds. These seeds will undoubtedly bear fruit in due time. In five minutes, in ten years, it does not matter, let's act on the wisdom of God. Carrying out these acts of trust does not eliminate the difficulties of life, but allows us to experience the faithfulness of God that responds to our trust. «Trust works miracles».

God always ends up responding to our trust. Carrying out these acts of trust makes us experience the faithfulness of God. One realizes that in one or another situation, which seemed totally complicated, suddenly things are solved by themselves in a mysterious way.
