How many people were there? We need more events like this so everyone can get to one. Steemfest is just too expensive for many people who don't earn a lot from Steem.
@steem.camp proved that money is not the issue.
This was the cheapest event possible; 30 euros for 4 nights of camping and food and drinks were paid with the ticket.
At the peak, we were 15 people, only.
This was the second time and the numbers did not change much.
I am aware, that I am not the most popular Steemian, but the main reason really is that people are lazy.
Honestly, I just agreed to this camp because of the personal relations.
At this point it would be easier to just gather them for a holiday, without the public ticket sales.
We are planning another event next year around August, though.
This time it will be a different location - further south.
edit : perhaps you should organize a euro steemcamp
you already know what's needed on this one you can surely do it
I don't like flying and going through body scanners so am only eurobound
sounds selfish but it is what it is so Felix, pls do organize a euro mini steemfest
I almost wrote something more but I think I'd just go to you on discord.
Germany is the place to be pls pretty please!
Not trying to be rude, but I could not give out extra invitations to everyone.
This camp was in the very center of Germany again, easily reachable by car or train from the Netherlands. The event was cool, but there were not enough people.
It is very frustrating to hear what a great idea this is, afterwards :(

I hope you can do it again and I'll try to be there. We have to keep building the community and run events where they can get together.
