Helicopter Woodcraft Construction Kit (Completed)

It's been a while since I purchased the helicopter woodcraft construction kit, and have been hiding it from my kids.

Over the weekend, I had the break and did construct the kit. I was correct in my assumption that the numbers on the piece of paper (with hieroglyphics) was indeed how the pieces come together. The build experience really has eased up a lot with the help of the numbers indicated. All I needed to do was count!

That’s a really nice model, it would have been interesting to see the bits you started with all jumbled up so we could appreciate the work to assemble them.

I’m sure your boys find it great fun, do the rotor blades spin on it?

yes, @c0ff33a, they did enjoy.. and the youngest has claimed dibs over this kit. it is quite scary at times when they play with the kits, as they would tend to bump/fight them.

the rotor blades do spin, but not much since the wood it is on is quite a tight fit. quite amazing how the makers designed the pieces.
