New here. So don’t know anything about these SMT things. But I’m encouraged to see continued development, even if it does appear that this has been a long time coming.
Yes, it is a long over due development. :) The "Hope" is it can end some of the debates about what is and isn't good content on Steem.
We always find things to argue about though, so who knows.
