During the month of Ramadan, the country's top Islamic organization 'China Islamic Association' issued such direction, according to a AFP report.

Revised guidelines for religious conduct in China have been issued since February. Then the China Islamic Association published this letter on their website. In China, there are two million Muslims of about ten groups.

Critics say that the Chinese ruling party is thus trying to increase the control of religious areas. Mosques are also ordered to take classes to raise awareness about the constitution and law. In the meantime, some of the provinces of the country have started following this order. National flag hoisted not only in the mosque, but also in many places in the church and Buddhist temples.
