Six Somalion students from a private university from Dhaka, who have been missing for a year, have been missing for a long time. None of these students have a visa. In this incident, the university issued a general diary in Uttara West Police Station with anxiety.

However, police did not find them in the last eight months. The investigation officer said that the investigation is going on.

At the end of 2016, seven Somalian students came to Dhaka to study. In September-October, Dhaka University has been admitted to International University of Business Agriculturists and Technology (IUBAT). They disappeared after three months. They are - Shakid Hasan Buay, Abdi Rahman Abdullahi Hassan, Mohammad Abu Dahir, Ali Salad, Shakir Omar Sheikh Abdulkadi, Abdur Rahman Abdullahi Hassan and Siraji Mohammad Ali. Siraji has been found in the meantime. He is studying at a university in Uttara. The rest are not yet found.

In this incident, the IUBAT authorities did a GD on 24 July, 2017 in Uttara West Police Station. GD investigation officer and Uttara West Police Station sub-inspector Mahmudul Hasan said, "The matter is under investigation. No trace of missing students found yet. With the copy of their passport from the university authorities, they will be seen in immigration check to see if they are in the country or have gone out. They will also see whether they got involved in any crime.

IUBAT University authorities said that the students are studying from the University of Somalia, Nepal and Maldives. In the 2016 semester, 7 Somalia students were admitted. They become absent without completing a semester.

The university tried to contact them but did not respond. They did not even find them after.

However, three months after the disappearance, a student named Siraji Mohammad Ali contacted the university. He paid his dues in June 2017 and took his passport. He is currently studying at BBA at the University of Calgary-Mariam University of Creative Technology, said IUBAT. The remaining 6 Somalian students passport is still deposited in IUBAT.

IUBAT International Program Officer MA Majedur Rahman said, "It is a matter of concern that the missing students are foreign students. Foreign students can not be involved in any other activities while studying for Bangladesh.

I tried many times on their mobile phone number, but there was no response. Later, we went to the police station to make a general diary. "He said," Although the GD is eight months, the police have not told us anything yet. "
