Giving Back to Steemit - Giving Away Two Hours Free Business Coaching
Want to start your own company, work remotely or just market your company on social media?
I'm giving away one hour of free advice or coaching on this, to two of my followers.
Steemit has given me opportunities that I would've never gotten elsewhere, and it's time to give back.
Lately, I've been helping my customers here in Norway with starting new businesses and developing them. My main business is digital marketing, but I'm finding myself doing more business consulting and coaching these days.
So today I got the idea that there's probably someone here that I could help with this too. And I want to do it for free, just because Steemit has given me so much over the last 20 months. New friends, new knowledge and of course some sweet SBD that has allowed me to travel even more.
And if you're thinking this: "who is this person and why would I want her help?"
I'm a 30-year-old journalist, business owner and an avocado lover from Norway. I travel the world while posting on Steemit, helping my customers with social media and working remotely part-time for a Swedish tech company.
I've worked in the IT business and I've also studied PR and communications.

I definitely could use some help with social media and how to best use it to my advantage.
I am also involved with a group of blockchain developers and could use help on how to best handle and grow a project we are working on.
I also am a musician and looking to get more involved with social media to help grow my fan base but just have some things standing in the way.
I really am curious about brand recognition and was just at the book store looking for books on the topic.
I have also been considering hiring someone to help me with all this so it would be awesome to win this!
Hi Susanne. Thank you for showing your gratitude to the Steemit community by giving back. I wish there was more of people like you. I'm inspired by your post to do more for the community.
I'm a small business owner who is struggling to break through (I'm not sure if that's the term). Ever since I was a kid I have always had the spirit of entrepreneurship, selling candy and cookies to my classmates in high school.
I paid through college with money that I earned through being a middleman between retailers and suppliers, negotiating cuts from suppliers and selling taking those cuts as my fee. Not so noble but it got me through. After college I got a job and I just hated the idea of working for someone and making them rich while I remained poor yet it's me that did the hardest work. I took a vow that I will own my own business.
I managed to start a couple of businesses but none of them has been successful enough to give me that big break that I need to be in the big legue. I'm still a smalltime business person who still has to work everynow and then for someone in order to keep things floating.
My current business is in the web design and development industry but there is stiff competition. It's like everyone is developing websites and web apps these days and it's hard to make any money at all. I need business coaching because I know I can make it, I just need the right coaching from someone with more experience. I especially need digital marketing skills to promote my business so I can get more clients.

Sounds like you've had an interesting journey. Some "failures" are needed to learn lessons I think.
Web design seems like it has tough competition. I think you need to look for an innovative business model to make it in this business. You can definitely make it, I'm sure!

Have gat a perfect business for you that stands out from the rest . It creates passive income, but requires relatively little cash investment to start up. It is low overhead, and can be operated on a flexible part-time basis until it generates enough cash flow for the entrepreneur to transition out of his current full-time job.

I sure will. I think two factors have been to post almost every day for two years and to really engage in other people’s content.

I just like your energy to put out an initiative as grand as this. I will love to participate but I don't know where to start because am someone who has a lot of interest to develop myself in the IT industry, but what is stopping me, I don't know; maybe fund, maybe a plan, I can't really say but I know my strength lies in that field because I have strong computational knowledge and the drive. am giving a task that relates to a field as such, I can guarantee I won't fair badly atall. If you could find a way to really motivate me to pursue this passion and sacrifice all else because right now am just barely trying to survive. I understand you are not out to be funding people's project, but it would really be a big deal if I could get a means to an end to pursue my dream full throttle , I hope you understand my point. One thing that has helped me is to first, write down your goals. Second, write down ways to achieve them. It is important to be realistic with where you are at the moment. Lastly, learn from those that have already achieved your dream. I have decided to set aside 5 hours per week to pursue my dream of transitioning to a Virtual Accountant. I learned that you have to have a desktop computer, you need to be available Monday - Friday from 8-5, you need to have a business phone line. I started this a year and 1/2 ago. I am not a Virtual Accountant yet, but I have made strides, and you can too. Good Luck on your path to pursuing your dreams! I hope some of this helped.

Am a Farmer from Nigeria and i also have interest in online marketing cos i see that as the next big thing in service delivery and a crucial point in making profit from farm, i dont have any mentor to coach me so i rely on books, i read a book per week since december, and am on page 60 of Guy Kawasaki book : the Art of Now, just in a bid to lean more.
I'll be glad if you can be of practical help because ive seen so many and listened to so many enterpreneur tapes and books but there strategy is non applicable nor can they be applied indegeniously.
