How to Pimp Your Resume & Wow Employment Interviewers

in #business8 years ago (edited)

Infographic resumes stand out! I used Canva resume templates to create one in infographic style. I uploaded it to my LinkedIn profile and have received lots of "likes" and coments on it. I encouraged my friend, Gina, to create her own infographic resume before a second job interview. She really wants this job but has been informed about another candidate that has a stronger resume (as in more experience and skills that align with the position). Skills and knowledge can always be attained and developed. Character, personality and burning desire to do the job cannot be taught. Why not present an infographic resume on the second interview to stand out?

Even though she was feeling rushed to prepare the night before the interview, she called me skipping out of the interview yesterday to tell me that her interviewers were in awe of her infographic resume! I'll keep you posted on whether or not she gets invited to the 3rd round interview (crossing my fingers). In the meantime, take a look at my marketing infographic resume or go to the Canvas website and check out dozens of their sample templates!
