Is there any indication that the mushrooms absorb some of the caffeine? I would be quite happy with mushrooms that gave me a small hit of caffeine.

haha, would be nice.
But I fear they dob't absorb much. Most of the coffeine would't even make it to the coffee grounds because the boiling water extracts it during the coffee brewing.
