That VW recall ended up helping us. We got to drive the Jetta for free for a month, and the buyback was so large it funded our kitchen remodel. Even though VW messed up bigtime, they did it in a very crafty way! Hehe.
Glad to hear they did good for you. I was not aware of this though. Media did not report or it was only a side news not mentioned in a prominent way - have a nice day and enjoy your kitchen.
