Nowadays, it is a common goal that one has a side hustle apart from the main job. I have been involved in selling household appliances and other valuable products though not massive but planning towards becoming a supplier in bulk. But for now, I do sell at retail prices though still moderate because I try to meet customer satisfaction first.

I started this business in 2021 when I created a Facebook page. On the Facebook page I advertised household appliances and when people placed their orders, I bought from China and sell via the Facebook page name @Ma-Ve Business Hub.

Recently, I am most focused on importing non-stick pots and the pots are of high quality. Non-Sticky pots are not really lucrative business here in Cameroon because many people do not know the quality or better still be aware of the dangers of using sticky pots.

Also, many prefer to buy the cheap pots as non-sticky pots are a bit expensive. However, I believe with time, many will prioritise health to buying cheap pots that will risk their health.

Notwithstanding, presently, I noticed a lot of young people are into content creation especially Facebook being monetized in Cameroon. Many now are into videography and shooting short and long videos. Many now create YouTube channels and also TikTok is being monetized. I saw the need to get involved with importing ring lights and stands to sell.
