It appears that the #burnsteem25 tag has a decent number of curators. Most of the posts on the created page have upvotes.

If you send 25% or more of the post's earnings to @null and add the tag to your post; then you might get some upvotes. You can set the beneficiary in the "Advanced Settings" option on the posting page.

I suspect that people who use the tag and fail to set the beneficiary receive downvotes. I would not tempt my fate by trying such a fiendish ploy.

I mentioned #burnsteem25 as I've noticed that many newbies fail to receive upvotes for their post. It looks like the #burnsteem25 tag is a great way for newbies to earn a reputation.

NOTE: It is also possible to promote posts by transferring STEEM to @null and putting the post in the memo field. The #burnsteem tag approach seems to have more consistent results than the promotion path.

Using AI Images for Burns

Now for the reason for this post!

I've been generating AI images for burn posts. The images are compelling and don't require a great deal of effort to create. The image above shows a dragon burning its way through a forest.

I just created a Burn Image Collection on Night Cafe. This collection shows images that I used for burn post. AI Images are considered near public domain; so feel free to use the images on your posts.

I am using the buy and burn on Hive Engine to buy some of the struggling coins on that ill fated platform.

I lost several hundred thousand coins when Steem Engine went poof a few years ago.

Here are the Burn Image I created on Night Cafe
