Yes I am from Pakistan so I always enjoy Pakistani food everyday in form of enjoying Pakistani spices in every dish including vegetables and meat different varieties.In my area kasur where I live most famous Pakistani food available is Rabri falooda, Andrasa.
• Most famous breakfast items availabile in my area are lacha paratha,nan chanay,nan haleem,siri paye and hlwa Puri.
• Other foods that are available in my area are banu beef pulao, master chicken biryani,quorma,karahi, nihari as main course.

Spices that I added are red chilli powder 1 tea spoon,1 tea spoon chilli flakes,1.5 tea spoon salt,1 tea spoon cumin seeds,1 tea spoon garam masala and half tea spoon tumeric powder |

Take cooking oil in a pan and heat it at medium flame | Add chicken in oil and fry it for 2 minutes and then add Jullian green chilli in chicken for giving rich flavor |

Add tomato slices or paste of tomatoes in chicken | Add spices including red chilli powder, chilli flakes, salt,cumin, tumeric powder in it and let it cook for 2 minutes |

Dry water from recipe at medium flame until tomato also get fully cooked and mixed | Add yogurt in chicken and let it cook for 1 minute |

Add coriander seeds and Jullian cut green chillies in karahi at end | Add fresh green chopped coriander leaves in chicken karahi for garnishing or as a final ingredient in recipe and mix it well |

Is your local cuisine has any food that resembles with the shared recipe? |
Yes as I belong from Pakistan so obviously this cuisine match with my Pakistan cuisine but Pakistan cuisine and flavours differs from region to region in Pakistan so chicken karahi is very similar with chicken quorma which is my local cuisine because in chicken quorma we also add onions as major ingredient with tomato but in karahi we don't add onions and we only cook karahi with tomatoes.In chicken quorma,in some places and especially in my locality lemon juice is also added in little amount for giving more richness to recipe but in karahi we don't add lemon juice.Chicken quorma have most resemblance with karahi in all of my local cuisines that I have in my mind.
Which flavour or spice do you like from Pakistan's cuisine? |
I am particularly from KASUR city of Pakistan so kasuri meethi is a common spice or ingredient used in different Pakistani cuisines and I like it's aroma but overall from Pakistan the most favourite spice of mine is coriander and cumin seeds because they give crisp and warm flavour in different recipes.Coriander seeds are mostly used in curries and cumin seeds are most used in rice like pulao and in simple zeera rice.
