The all purpose flour is a refined flour which is not healthy for the body. It has passed through different refining processes which makes it lose necessary nutrients like vitamins minerals and fiber.

The corn flour is a healthy flour, it is not refined therefore it is good for the body.

Ingredients for my pancake

Eggs | 2 |
Pepper | 3 seeds |
Onions | 1 |
Milk | 1 tsp |

Preparations of my corn flour pancake
- I sliced my onions and pepper in a plate

I added eggs into a bowl and beat, I then added my milk and small water and mix well.
I Put in my sliced onions and pepper and mix well.

- I Stir my mixture together and added my corn flour and continue to stir.
In my pan, on low heat, I added my olive oil,allow to heat and then add a portion of the mixed batter in the pan and allow to fry for few minutes.
I turn over the other and fry till its done. Serve hot or cold.

This type of food which is corn pancakes can be eaten as breakfast, lunch or as dinner. Which means it can be eaten at any time of the day.
It is light which can serves as breakfast. It has carbohydrates content which gives energy for the day so it makes it good as lunch while for dinner it is also a light meal which can come as night for dinner.

My favorite was week 5 which was on salads. That course opened my eyes to see that there eating healthy doesn't cost so much.
It showed me varieties of salads I can enjoy and make them myself..I have always thought of a particular kind of meal as salad but this class of week 5 taught me that there are things that could serve as salad other than what I originally knew.
I enjoyed every part of the class and I made my salad which was very impressive.

I would like topics such eating habits to be taught, like best times to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. What meals are best for gaining weight and losing weight.
This will help many of us who wants to keep fit through the kinds of food we eat. Thank you for the class so far.
