Almonds | 70 grams |
Walnuts | 40 grams |
Honey | 2 tablespoons |
Chocolate(Optional) | 100 grams |
Cream(Optional) | 30 grams |
I take a blender and add dates in it by removing seeds and washing dates properly.
Then I add walnuts and almonds in dates as second major ingredient of recipe.
For binding I add honey in blender and now there's a need to blend or mix up all these ingredients.
I blended all ingredients properly and when they get blend then I pour this mixture in a plate and this is you can see how it's looking after blending.
I let it cook for 15 minutes in refrigerator and then make rectangular and bit longitudinal bars of this mixture.
Now I need to pour melted chocolate at these dates and nuts bars and here I am doing it in picture you can see.
In next step I just made a design with cream by simply adding lining of cream in bars and then sprinkle roasted chopped nuts at bars.After 1 hour of refrigerating these are ready to serve.

Dates are most important ingredient in these dates and nuts bars recipe as it is indicated by recipe name too so dates are important in providing sweetness in recipe as well it is an ingredient containing a lot of fibers and nutrients.Dates also contains a lot of antioxidants which makes immune systems healthy and it's sticky nature is helpful in binding all ingredients with eachother.
So overall dates are healthiest alternative of sugars as well as these are rich in fibres, potassium and antioxidants which are helpful in digestion and in making immunity strong.At last dates are helpful in making these bars more cohesive with eachother.
Yes in my country Pakistan dates are widely available and especially in month of Ramadan dates sold out quickly because people enjoy it in Sehar and Iftar for completion of Sunnah.

Date and Nut Bars is a yummiest dessert that may be prepared at occasion of Eid ul fitr especially because it is considered a festival of enjoying sweet dishes but at Eid ul Adha normally people enjoy salted recipes.At wedding occasions sweets are promoted but this is a healthy alternative of sweets which are made with refined sugars.
Dates are nuts bars are made with natural ingredients so I think these are bars filled with nutrition and this is a perfect energy booster snack that can be taken as source of instant energy.It is a versatile recipe in which sesame seeds may also be added as well its a desert which may be easily prepared in home without using oven.
