I am from Pakistan so definitely I know most of underrated movies released by Pakistan film industry which I am sharing one by one;
"Zinda Bhaag" was Punjabi movie released in 2013 which was about theme of illegal immigration named as"dunky" and desperate tries of three young men for escaping their mundane which lives in Punjab.Zinda bhag movie followed Khaldi, Taambi, and Chitta because they are attempting to approach West which faced multiple challenges and results out of expectations.
"Rangreza" was another musical romance movie released in 2017 in which Urwa Hocane and Gohar Rasheed were the main characters.Rangreza movie showcases colorful and charming music and chemistry among leads which make it must-watch for viewers of Pakistani cinema but due to low marketing and promotion strategies it was an underrated movie.
"Cake" was a family movie containing deeper emotional layers, reality touch,storytelling, and strong female characters and it was released in 2018.Cake movie features include mind-blowing performances from its cast in which there were Aamina Sheikh and Sanam Saeed.
"Laal Kabootar" was released in 2019 which was a gripping thriller set in Karachi that explore dark underbelly of Karachi city.Lal kabootar movie followed an Uber driver, a widow as well a corrupt cop which embarked sense of curiosity along viewers and keep them on edge of their seats.
"Main Hoon Shahid Afridi" was movie released in 2013 which was about sports in which young cricketer aspiring to be like a famous player Shahid Afridi.This movie explores perseverance and determination themes due to which it was overall an inspiring watch for fans of cricket especially .
These are not well-known movies at global level but in Pakistan among film enthusiast especially they have received critical acclaim and appreciation.
Following are the reasons due to which I am considering that these movies are underrated!
Movies that I have mentioned have a very limited global release due to which their exposure is restricted to international audiences.
When we make a comparison to blockbuster hits or those films that wins awards then these movies are not well known or celebrated in mainstream media that's why these are underrated.
Some of these mentioned movies are catering to particular genres or themes which may be appealing to niche audiences in comparison with broad, mainstream audiences.
When we see and move on marketing and promotional efforts for these movies then these also seems to be very insufficient or restricted due to which their visibility and reach is not wider.
These movies although have received critical acclaim but they are not successful in getting same level of success at commercial level or box office numbers like those movies that get more popularity.
In Pakistani cinema, these movies may be overlooked by more popular or well-known films that make them or lead them being underrated or lesser-known so this is also a reason to be considered.
These all factors are contributing in considering these movies being considered lesser-known or underrated irrespective of their merits and critical acclaim.
For making these movies more famous or valuable following strategies needs to be consider so let's have a look at them one by one;
There's a need of creating most dedicated sites, profiles at social media as well as streaming platforms for showing case these underrated movies which can make them more visible.
There's a need of utilizing targeted trailers, advertising and behind scenes content for generating thrill among audience so marketing in this way might be very helpful.
Submission of these underrated movies to those festivals and award ceremonies which are relevant for gaining more recognition is a helpful way that can get attention of viewers and get these movies out from underrated movies category.
Encouragement of critics and audiences for the purpose of sharing their thoughts,to foster a community around these underrated movies is also significant thing that shouldn't be missed.
It's really significant for making these movies available at those streaming platforms which are worthy or by the means of digital archives so accessibility in this context can play a significant role.
Encouragement of fans for sharing their love for these underrated movies with others is an important consideration.
Restoration of the classic movies to their original quality is a way to give surety of their longevity so this measure can bring more laughter, dedication among viewers for making hidden gems more famous.
Highlighting cultural relevancy, importance,historical or social impact of these underrated movies brings a sense of thrill, emotion and attachment among viewers about content of these movies.
By implementation of these measures these hidden gems may get more appreciation from audience and may fall under category of most watched and valued movies!

I haven’t seen any of these Pakistani movies before, but your descriptions really brought them to life. It’s beautiful how you highlighted their emotional depth and cultural importance.
