RE: Beggar or Builder, You Decide

in #build6 years ago

First of all, Thank you so much for great feedback

I want everything to be natural and not forced.

Me too, where as some people like my partner, certain amount of push necessary

I’m identifying many people’s systematic begging approach and I’ll just try to reduce what they milk from our Blockchain

I have done many different things on Steem since I arrived here. I have tried to please people around me with upvotes and I have sent some of the beggars both Steem and SBD, straight to their wallets.

I co-launched the @asapers project, with focus on the newcomers and the "little guys" on Steem. I also ran a "push people"-initiative to make minnows, in an attempt to create something that could eventually resemblance a middle class on Steem. I did these things in attempts to please my audience and the people on Steem... Unfortunately, due to various reasons both of these inititaives were cancelled.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances in life, I've been literally forced to power down my stake, but I've never given up hope of contributing and building something that will last. The most recent commitment of mine is the Let's Make 250 New Minnows in a Month, where I'm involved as one of the team members.

My wallet might be small or be almost non-existent in terms of value, but I'm not worried about any of that, because I know that Steem gives me the opportunity to build everything up again. What matters to me, is to build our foundation so that everyone can enjoy the ride. When that is done, rewards will come for all of us.

The sad part of all of this, is that so many people out there are doing everything they can to fill their own pockets today, without a single thought of anything except for themselves or the future of Steem. They allow greed and selfishness to steer their actions. Beggars are doing basically the same thing, and it doesn't really matter how much you try to educate them or teach them... But I won't give up.

In any economy we need

More builders than beggars

Let’s focus more on the building less on beggars

I’m finding ways to how to use these beggars to build STEEM ecosystem

That is so true. We need more builders than beggars. We would be better off without the beggars, lol. But that's also why I'll continue my efforts to educate these people.

I like your 777-twitter project. I think it's something that will bring more eyeballs towards Steem and it inspires and motivates people to be part of, so keep it up! :)
