Bubble Bridge - How the Most Mundane Things Might Turn into Interesting Photograph

in #bubbles7 years ago

Hello everybody!

I'm new here at Steemit, I think this is a cool platform and I want to be part of the community. I'm not quite sure yet what kind of content I want to publish here in the long run, but I'll see about that... For now, I want to share some of the photographs I have taken and edited. Here is one!

Anyways, as somebody who likes to photograph, I find myself sometimes stuck. I cannot seem to find anything worth taking pictures of, something that interests me or looks fascinating enough for me to edit and publish. If you happen to be into photography as well, you might know what I am talking about.

The thing is, pretty much anything can look interesting in the right conditions. This picture is a perfect example how the most mundane things can turn into something worth sharing, as it came from me washing dishes. I was bored enough to pay attention to the foam that was forming on top of the water, when I saw a tiny spot that had two "islands" of bubbles connecting. I thought to myself: "I need to take a macro-shot of this".

I took out my tripod, put some extension tubes in front of the lens, then I used my phone to shine light to the scene from the side in order to bring out the roundness of the tiny bubbles. Then I took the shot. The colours you see on the background weren't actually there, I edited it to make the bubbles pop out more and to give the picture a soothing gradient.

The most amazing looking things can be closer than one might think, they are there every day, but we often miss them because we do not stop to look.

Those are your pictures? Beautiful

Yes, every photo I post is taken and edited by me. Thanks for the compliment. :)

Wow! I see that I am going to love your content! ;)
It's a great idea and thanks to you to we will see things closer that will give a sec to stop in our rushing daily lives!
I feel you when you talk about stuck! After a while it brings to something greater! :) Thumbs up and gooo girl!

Thank you very much! It's easy to get stuck sometimes, I've had some long periods of time when I didn't even touch my camera. :/

By the way, I followed you too, I like your pictures. And one more thing... I'm actually a guy. :')

Yeah! I know what you mean! I had many of it as well! But I guess it's normal to have those not photographing gaps.

Sorry for this misunderstand! Let's say it's even better! xD

I guess you are right, it's just healthy to take breaks from things sometimes. :) Oh and no problem, it's not like I have my face as the profile picture, so you couldn't have known.
