NYC Mild Tomorrow Cold Late Weekend

Good morning everyone. As I'm typing, rain associated with our warm front is leaving the area and that mild push is on schedule for tomorrow. Unfortunately, its very brief and colder weather returns throughout the weekend and to start next week.

SATELLITE

We're socked in with clouds and some early rain this morning, then we say a few blue patches late. You may notice the humidity creep up later on, and our highs in the low 50's, will probably be our lows for overnight (or at least very close). REGIONAL RADAR
Expect mostly cloudy skies tomorrow, with patchy fog, especially at the coast. Once everything breaks up, temps should rise in the low to mid 70's in NYC areas away from the immediate shore. As usual, downtown Brooklyn, interior Queens, interior parts of Manhattan, and areas just west of NYC will have the best chance for the warmest readings.

When that cold front begins its approach late afternoon/early evening, expect the chance of scattered heavy showers or thunderstorm. The line should be on the narrow side, so anything we get will be short-lived.

LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

Sunny, breezy, and much cooler conditions head in for Saturday; with highs in the upper 40's to low 50's, and stiff northwesterlies. Lows overnight will be in the upper 20's to near 30, and that'll set us up for a cold day on Sunday.

Sunny skies prevail and winds calm down, but low to mid 40's will be about it for our area on Sunday.

LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA


On Monday, a weak disturbance slips to our south, and it may touch off a light scattered shower or two. If any precipitation sneaks in early enough Monday morning, you could see a few wet flakes mixed in.
