NYC MILD CLOUDY FRIDAY EXPECTED

Good morning everyone. For those early risers such as myself, you'll be waking up to some scattered morning showers throughout the area. We'll be moving quick this week as far as systems and changes, so let's do the rundown.

SATELLITE

storm free

Those scattered showers will probably stick around until some time between 10am and 1pm, then we'll go mostly cloudy. Highs today will be in the low to mid 50's.

Sunshine resumes tomorrow, but we'll have increasing clouds late ahead of the warmer air trying to move in. Look for more low to mid 50's.

REGIONAL RADAR

storm free

Low to mid 50's are the flavor until Friday, with morning rain on Thursday, then a break in the action. That milder air makes it in on Friday, but at the cost of morning rain and clouds sticking around.

Depending on what the cloud cover looks like, that'll dictate our highs for the day. As of this moment, look for 65-70 degree temps and muggy with clouds sticking around. We could creep a little higher if we get more sun.

LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

storm free

Mild air is already gone for Saturday, replaced with sunshine and breezy conditions. Highs near 50. We could see upper 20's as lows with an unseasonably cold night, then Sunday may only see mid 40's as highs.

LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
storm free

We'll slowly modify next Monday with highs near 50, then we start the process all over again. I continue to see a possible mild end to March/early April, but the overall pattern remains in this chilly-cool-mild-showery-chilly-cool template.
MANY THANKS TO TROPICAL TIDBITS FOR THE USE OF MAPS

Please note that with regards to any tropical storms or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
