Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of diced onions
  • 1/4 cup of diced bell peppers
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add diced onions and bell peppers to the pan and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Let the mixture simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  6. Serve Briané over cooked pasta, rice, or grilled chicken.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
