Belarus

Brest is a city in the south—west of Belarus, the administrative center of the Brest region and the Brest district. As of January 1, 2021, the city's population was 340,318 people. It is located in the southwestern part of the region, at the confluence of the Mukhavets River with the Western Bug, near the state border with Poland.
