our awesome brain!!

in #brain7 years ago

Our brain is the most important organ of our body, it is the central computer, the engine that manages all the other organs, which stores our memory, which contains our consciousness ... in short, who makes us what we are. Despite its crucial importance there are very few people who know how the brain really works, which impacts our daily life. Why are I unable to remember my last "déjà vu"? How is it that when I look at the void, perched on a rickety bridge, or balanced on a cable stretched between two buildings (each his hobbies, we do not judge...) I feel like I'm going to fall? While on the floor I never lose the balance for no reason.

Have you ever been subject to a hypnotic shock or sleep paralysis? Is it possible for our brain to make decisions and initiatives in a completely autonomous way without even letting us know? As if a being in his own right was lodged inside our skull. Such questions deserve to be asked and that's why I decided to dedicate a position for each of the extraordinary abilities that captured my attention that our brain is endowed with.

Recent cases show us how much the use of our brain is perfectible: calculators prodigies manage to calculate the root thirteenth of a hundred-digit number in less than four seconds where this memory of several thousand digits and Let them look at them only for a few minutes. We would tend to think that these people are smarter than we are, that nature has provided them with extraordinary faculties, and you can imagine that no! The difference lies therefore in how they use their brain, and in particular in their ability to distribute the cognitive load on several functions of their minds. How do they do? This is also what we will see later

With that, I wish you a good evening ;)

Interesting post about our brain and this is the place to recommend on reading the book "The Brain That Changes Itself" of Norman Doige

בעברית "המוח הגמיש" ספר מאלף !

i note it thank you!

In the end, the brain researchers will have to change the perception, the description of the brain and its functions. It will happen as the mind becomes deeper.
When brain researchers are required to examine a medical problem, they are still stuck in the damaged nerve component that they think is the problem, doing their best to match brain functions with specific brain locations. The sooner we replace this mechanical model of the brain with a systemic and environmental conception, the more we will provide a better explanation for most human experiences.

awesome post ! it's amazing the importance of our brain ...
