Would serving Winston's sentence be following the law or breaking it? And did I care? Should I serve a sentence on both of them? Should I pay any attention to a law that said I should kill a pregnant woman?

I'm not usually a sci-fi reader, but the sci-fi I've loved has been that which raised the great moral quandaries of the current social structure to a place where we could perhaps more safely consider them.
