TIME TO HIT THE FLOOR RUNNING!😳.............. NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀

Time to hit the floor running!😳
After a morning of splitting firewood, weed-eating, and mowing, Silvertop was more than ready for today’s hike!😅
I decided to explore the “Floor Trail!”😊
With all the rainfall we have had, the underbrush on this narrow trail has grow quickly. It has almost completely closed off this out of the way trail………😮
Silvertop has hiked this trail many times in the past, and even if it became completely overgrown, it would be easy to find my way home!😇
I hiked several miles on the long gravel road that leads to this trailhead………..
The trailhead marker was covered with ferns, so Silvertop brushed them out of the way to take a paparazzi photo!☺️
Ohh…. NO….. with the warm Sunshine, I was wearing only a t-shirt……..
My bare arm just barely touched a Stinging Nettle plant, that’s all it takes for hours of burning from this plant.
Stinging Nettle plants have tiny hollow hairs that break off, injecting you with chemicals that can burn skin!😬
Silvertop that should have been a warning that danger could be up ahead!🙄
I barely made it one hundred feet up the trail, when I almost stepped into a pile of VERY fresh Bear scat!😳
Silvertop stopped in his tracks………..
Do I continue onward…. I was by myself today.
Today would be a nice long hike, even if I turned around now………………
That sounds like a safe plan, Mr Bear is obviously VERY close by!🐻
Silvertop will return with Liz and Jan, and maybe even PEPE………
I can outrun all of them Lol!🤣
