"HELLO IS THERE ANYBODY IN THERE?"😳.......NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀

“Hello Is there Anybody In There?”………🙄
“Hello….. Grant are you home?”😊
This weekend “Get-a-way” cabin belongs to Grant, one of Silvertop’s neighbors from north of the border!☺️
I pass his cabin, nestled deep in the forest, everyday on my hike!
I check on his cabin when he isn’t home, and when I see his car, I always stop in to say “Hi”!😇
No driveway here, just a small clearing between tall trees for one or two cars to park out by the road!
From there, you hike down a secluded single track trail, to a very old wooden bridge suspended across a creek!😮
The center support for this bridge is a slowly decomposing western red cedar tree stump!
“Liz…. Is this bridge bouncing more than normal?”😳
You can see how green the bridge deck is, not much Sun filters through the tall trees here!😮
Grant tacked galvanized hardware cloth, over the decking, to prevent people from slipping and falling on the Moss covered bridge!😇
Strange how galvanized metal prevents moss from growing !🤔
Many home owners in the Pacific Northwest place a strip of galvanized metal under the ridge cap on their homes. This is usually is all that is needed, to prevent moss from building up on rooftops!😇
I hiked up to his side porch………..
“Sorry we Missed you”…………
I appears that his Dog “Brownie” had an infected toe, and Dennis took him to the vet 🙄
That’s too bad, I hope Brownie is better soon!😊
I wandered through his “Slice” of the forest, I can see why he comes down from his home in Canada, to spend an occasional weekend here!☺️
I stood in the center of his bridge and jumped…… Lightly….😳
Ohhh…….. that’s not very substantial Lol!🙄
I slowly walked across to the other side, making “Waves” as I walked!😮
The Forest has a way of reclaiming what Man has built…….
“Liz, just walk slowly, I’ll snap a photo or two, of this awesome bridge ………
Before it is gone!”😇
Grab a hike my friends….. and enjoy!😊
The Forest will be here waiting!🤗
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
