I Know It's Here............ NW Cascade Wanderings
……somewhere! I just know it is! Phoenix might could be saying this as she investigates this molehill! She live in North Bend, Washington with our son and daughter in law, and this particular field is guaranteed to have literally hundreds of molehills! She loves to dig through them looking for the little critters, but as she’s gotten older, can throw out that long doggy back of hers. You see, she’s a mix of Dachshund and Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is very unique and comes with a personality accordingly! A very sweet girl! 🐶
Today is Palm Sunday, which our morning was spent at church in celebration of. Pastor Kyle does an amazing job with his sermons and today’s was no different. His wife Rachel, also does a wonderful job in leading worship. We are blessed to have found this church!
Afterwords, we came home and did a few things around the house. Then we set out for a hike. Destination: the bench at Bear Hollow. It’s been quite some time since I’ve traversed the Upper Trail on into Bear Hollow. Winter weather/rains and hip issues have not been my friends lately. With the weather so beautiful today, I decided enough-I want to go, so we did!
@actifit-lamb and Pepe-yette jumped into the backpack! They were looking for some sunbeams and the bench at Bear Hollow was just the place!
You might notice in this next photo, who had jumped into @silvertop’s backpack and snuck up on the girls enjoying the sunshine!
Here are more pictures from today’s hike.
As I stated yesterday, I have more flower pics from the garden center. One of my absolute favorites is the Columbine. Check out these two lovely specimens!
I didn’t read the label on this next one but it sure is pretty!
Well, that’s gonna be it for today. Take care as always and enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌎🙏

NKJV Luke 19:28-40
When He had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. And it came to pass, when He drew near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples, saying, “Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here. And if anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it.’ ”
So those who were sent went their way and found it just as He had said to them. But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, “Why are you loosing the colt?”
And they said, “The Lord has need of him.” Then they brought him to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him. And as He went, many spread their clothes on the road.
Then, as He was now drawing near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works they had seen, saying:
“ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the LORD!’
Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”
But He answered and said to them, “I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.”
