Last Minute Upvoter Accounts (2018-02-18)
@abusereports will report all large votes on posts just before payout, usually indicative of some shady business! Each day a new post will be generated, and a comment for each identified vote that meets the specified criteria.
If you would like to help stop abuse and feel those in the comments below are abusing the reward pool, flag them.
Please show your support for @abusereports by following, resteeming and upvoting if you see value to this project.
Thank you for your support.
Good job.. now we all will get to know about all those people who votes on posts/comments that are just 13 hours before payout.. scammers will now get the spotlights which they deserve
In what way, you mean from Bidbots? Or ALL last minute up voters?
I think most bidbots are forced to have shorter voting time windows, so they must be talking about people who manually swoop in and vote at the last second.
Very good point haha
I heard people make loss using bidbots . Only few bots are good . Can you tell me more about it ?
I dare to say 100% of the bidbots are not profitable. In order to be you need a vote 225% larger than your bid. Take a look at this tool. Go to details for the last rounds and see for yourself.
For more information I dedicated some articles, going from Hype to disbelief, now I know how they work and I do not use them at all.

I will write another post on this matter, besides if you want support SmartSteem.
Most of the bots are actually bid on for too much by everyone so they usually result in negative immediate ROI, you can check on steembottracker.com and see their last bid window to verify. Only a few bots have guaranteed positive ROI, but they often have stricter rules for posting.
The main purpose of bots from the consumer standpoint should be to get visibility and hope for others to vote on your post through the quality of the content, so it's kind of a gamble no matter which way you look at it, considering the price of steem or sbd is always fluctuating and could be higher or lower by the time your post pays out.
It is about Math, they have open source code and you can check how many bids there are.
It depends on the ability of the end-user whether or not they are profitable. Of course, there are a few issues, like last minute bids that can throw even smart bidders off.

Can you blacklist @grandpawhale? He is an account used by @shadowbot to help their community. If you don't know about shadowbot, it is similar to steemfollower in that you vote and get votes for voting etc. Grandpawhale has helped by voting people that have voted yet can't find someone else to vote for them.
