I'm SEEking advice

in #boredom7 years ago

I've been unemployed for the past few months and I've just been inside my house all the time. Spending all this time inside and feeling bored makes me feel depleted and with no sense of purpose. I Know that a regular plebeian job is not for me, but this laziness that I have makes me not want to do anything at all. My situation sucks, but it could be worse... I could be sick or dying and thank the lord almighty that I'm not, but still this incessant boredom persists any advice?

You need to get out and talk to new people. This will energize you and inspire you into new things and thinking. I have been a stock trader for years and was so isolated for so many hours each day. It was so depressing and I avoided everything and everyone. Until I had to change and find some answers. I met new people everywhere and my life has never been the same since. I preach socializing in person to everyone and I was not social for years, it was tough for me. This brings lots of happiness and a lot of possibilities in life.

I often think of doing this, but I think its strange to just walk up to someone and start a conversation.

It's not, we just assume that in our mind. I thought the same until I did this always and proved myself wrong. When you believe people will embrace you and love you, they do. Own it when you approach people and act like you good friends. Guarantee you it will work on most people. When it doesn't just be fine with that, it's ok people are growing.

Buy some steem power and start posting , commenting and upvoting on daily basis.

I remember reading an article that stated that up voting too often diminishes your steempower. Is it true?

No. Steem power are steem which is yours. Voting power is different. You can vote 10 times a day to keep your voting power at 100%, but its nothing wrong if it goes lower. I'm using this: https://www.steemnow.com/ type your username and you're ready to go.

I'm using it now, its useful for keeping track of your usage as well as others its pretty neat.

I confirm, your situation sucks.
But I have few questions:

  • is there anything that you really enjoy doing? A hobby... anything?
  • to me, your boredom is fueled by the lack of motivation. So, how are you paying your bills if you are unemployed?

advice make a list if things you like to do abd things you are good at then see if you can make a job or a business out of it. 2. start a blog on problems that need solving then invent or creaye a solutiom for an everyday problem sell it online and take it to shark tank. 3. Do volunteer work to feed your soul whther you mow a seniors lawn or voach a little league team.. you only live once so live it up😁
