The "Missing 411" Series Of Books I Am Eagerly Waiting For.

A few months back a friend told me about a book. In fact it was more than one book, it was a series of books under the same title, Missing 411, and it is a tome which tracks missing people around the world and specially, the missing people reported from the National Parks and forests of the United States.
I do come across a few cases of missing people here in India as part of my job in covering crime for the vernacular media, and I have followed the few cases which were directly connected to the crime we were reporting on.
It is mostly a matter of statistics that almost 95% of people reported missing are ultimately found. This statistics, which I have verified, seems to hold true for every country. But this series of books tracks the cases which fall in the 5% cases unsolved as yet, and the results are shocking.
As the book is not available here in India as yet, I started doing some research on the internet and was stunned to discover that the book refers to missing people of a different kind!
The more I researched on the internet, I found the author, David Paulides, to be an ex-cop who has formal training and experience in investigations and has revealed such anomalies that conventional explanations do not satisfy and you start wondering if there are things beyond what we feel and understand.
Like multi-dimensions and aliens perhaps? Because which ever way I tried to explain it to myself, I could not and I found myself straying into areas I would not normally be in!
So with my curiosity ignited, I just had to get my hands on those books. And I got a chance when one of my colleagues had to leave for Europe for an assignment of two weeks, and I asked him to get the books for me.
I now await my colleagues return eagerly so that I can get my hands on a book which has so intrigued me and cannot wait to start reading.

Maybe this is a good read for me, thank you @cmwatch
