Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar says politicians should stop using religion in politics.

According to Indian media Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently participated in the movie "Nanak Shah Fakir" launching ceremony. On this occasion, he said, I think all the politicians who try to use religion to increase their vote bank and get votes should take Guru Nanak's lesson. I firmly believe that "God is only one and he is inside us, it is not right to bring religion to everything", hope everyone will follow it.

Talking about the film, Akshay Kumar said that he believes in the movie "God is only one". This is the movie that I saw a 2 years ago and this is the only movie that I saw twice a day, once with my mother and alone for the second time. This is a very beautiful film with very beautiful message.

This film "Nanak Shah Fakir" is based on the life and thoughts of first guru of Sikhs "Guru Nanak Dev". This movie has been controversy due to its theme for the last three years. It was initially supposed to be released on April 17, 2015, but due to the protest of several Sikh's representative organizations, the release of the movie was postponed.

Sikh groups said that Sikh culture is violated in the movie. However, the film was released in Los Angeles in 2014. This film will be released next month in India on April 13.
