I've got a drum kit and a red Strat, both courtesy of my sister.
I like the idea, but still prefer Lego. As you say, they would then have been large miniatures, though.
I have a box of first-wave Star Wars Lego somewhere, which would be worth a lot of money if I still had the packaging (thank-you Lock-n-Store nd your leaking roof).
