Blurt Has Arrived! And it's only the Beginning.

Five years in existence with ups and downs; people have come, people have gone, but there are some metrics that I'm keeping a close eye on to judge where Blurt is heading next. Is it getting hot, are more people using the platform, are they coming here to invest? Are they coming here to earn rewards and sell asap? Are they coming here to build relationships, or are they coming to spam the platform?

Here is one of the best indicators to know all of the above. At the time of writing this Blurt is currently the number one most traded token on hive-engine, while simultaneously holding new recent high prices and climbing.

This is a big deal. I have never seen it trade in the top spot before, outperforming the popular splinterlands token. Further more I have never seen it trade over 3,000 dollars in 24hr volume. Today Blurt is doing well over 6,000 volume! This is all while Blurt has out performed a rising bitcoin by a whopping twenty percent in the past month!

Hive is where the main market cap and majority of users are for the sister chains Steemit, Hive, and Blurt and to see Blurt now taking the number one spot in volume on Hive Engine tells me there is a serious shift in momentum and smart money on Hive is sniffing out where the future is, and where the potential is for massive gains.

Recently Blurt has been showing off it's support of generally censored content creators. Blurt has been demonstrating the power of a no-downvote/un-sensorable version of social media, where the individual viewer can reward free speech enthusiasts monetarily. A night and day difference compared to these same content creators getting punished, silenced, shadow banned, demonetized, and down-voted into obscurity on other platforms including Blurt's direct competition.

I do believe we are near a tipping point, where the idea of using Blurt simply because it's more fair becomes contagious. The Hive platform is being seen for what it is, the hive mind, centralized control, down-voting into submission, creating a low-vibe boring cess-pool experience of self censorship and walking on eggshells, with an entrapped 13 week power-down process.

People are beginning to see it for what it is; meanwhile the price of Blurt is still very cheap, people are also seeing Blurt as big opportunity.
