$15 USD in comments on a single Blurt post?!

There was a fascinating result to the "Comment Lovefest" post I made one week ago - 65 comments, with a combined value over $15! That must be a record!

Originally meant to be a simple experiment to help learn more about reward 'farming' practices, we ended up learning quite a lot! Not only about that, but also about the blockchain in general... and about human psychology. I'll comment more on that as my adventure in reward farming continues.

$15 (give or take a few cents) spread out over 65 comments means they generated an average of 23 cents each! Not bad, considering a lot of POSTS don't even get that much. A lot of the comments had 30 and even 40 cent payouts.

Other than BeBlurt (thanks!), the post itself didn't get much support from the platform's whales, so it didn't make it onto the Trending page for extra views. Nevertheless, a dedicated bunch of commenters - and curators! - made sure the total racked up nicely. @Outofthematrix and @curationcoconut really stepped up and emptied their voting power out on the comment section, showering participants with love and money! Thank you to them, and to everybody else who posted, voted, and shared.
