Blue Lotus is steeped in history, being embedded in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. I found the effects to be calming, dreamy and sedating: not particularly exciting but definitely there.

This and the other images posted in this series were taken during the researching for and the writing of The Honest Drug Book
