WISE MEN WHO LEARNED THINGS FROM STARS 3

2 JESUS WAS BORN IN THE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM IN THE COUNTRY OF JUDEA. It was the time when Herod was king of that part of the country. Soon after Jesus was born, SOME WISE MEN WHO LEARNED THINGS FROM STARS CAME TO JERUSALEM FROM THE EAST.
2 THEY ASKED, “Where is the King of the Jews Who has been born? WE HAVE SEEN HIS STAR IN THE EAST. WE HAVE COME TO WORSHIP HIM.”

1 Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea, during the time when Herod was king. SOON AFTERWARD, SOME MEN WHO STUDIED THE STARS CAME FROM THE EAST TO JERUSALEM
2 AND ASKED, “Where is the baby born to be the king of the Jews? WE SAW HIS STAR WHEN IT CAME UP IN THE EAST, AND WE HAVE COME TO WORSHIP HIM.”

1 When [After] Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea during the time when Herod was king, SOME WISE MEN [astrologers; magi; a class of wise men and priests who practiced astrology] FROM THE EAST CAME TO JERUSALEM.
2 THEY ASKED, “Where is the baby who was born to be the king [or newborn king] of the Jews? WE SAW HIS STAR IN THE EAST [or when it rose] AND HAVE COME TO WORSHIP HIM [pay him homage].”

• Your star to a great extent determines the height of your greatness in life.

• It determines the people who relate with you; the people you are attracted to or those who are attracted to you.
• It determines your lifestyle; stipulates, as in, defines or states things about you or your life.
• Every human has a glorious destiny, however, the glory differs. If you understand this, you would not strive with anyone; you would know your place and not compete with anyone.
• If you do not understand your star, your place, you may attract and permit wrong set of people in your life; thus, progress and fulfilment would become elusive.
• This is where having a relationship with God through Jesus Christ is of utmost importance. When you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you established a relationship with God, and the Holy Spirit comes to reside on the inside of you—your newly recreated spirit.
• Through your relationship and communion with God, by the help of the Holy Spirit, you get to understand your life; know what works for you and what does not.
• You get to know who to relate or associate with, and who not to; thus, you would know who to allow in your life, those who's stars are compatible with yours, and those you should not allow, who's stars are not compatible with yours.

• You are a great person with a glorious star in your own right, though stars are differed in glory. There is a measure of greatness God ordained for your life.

• God has not sent you to the planet earth to be a riffraff or a disreputable person—there is a purpose for your life, what you are to fulfil.
• The devil and his agents are on a mission, having a goal, to manipulate the star, the destiny, of every child born to the planet earth; especially those with glorious or kingly stars: "THE THIEF DOES NOT COME EXCEPT TO STEAL, AND TO KILL, AND TO DESTROY (John 10:10 NKJV).
• I discovered that a good number of people came to the planet earth with a glorious star, but their stars have been tampered with, and manipulated, contrary to God's original purpose and plan.

• Your star had to be protected, as God did of Jesus Christ's. You cannot protect your star without God's help.

• Though Jesus' Star could not be tampered with, but some people would not want the Star to shine—they would not want Him to live to fulfil purpose.
• They did not want Him to reign as a King; Herod tried to kill the Child Jesus that His Star might not shine—that He might not reign as a King, fulfil the purpose of His coming to the earth:
  13 AFTER THE WISE MEN WERE GONE, AN ANGEL OF THE LORD APPEARED TO JOSEPH IN A DREAM. “GET UP! FLEE TO EGYPT WITH THE CHILD AND HIS MOTHER,” THE ANGEL SAID. “STAY THERE UNTIL I TELL YOU TO RETURN, BECAUSE HEROD IS GOING TO SEARCH FOR THE CHILD TO KILL HIM." 14 THAT NIGHT JOSEPH LEFT FOR EGYPT WITH THE CHILD AND MARY, HIS MOTHER" (Matthew 2:13,14 NLT).

• Similarly, there are some Herods in the world, the devil and his agents, who would not want your star to shine. They would not want you to be what God wanted you to be—fulfil the purpose of God for your life.

• There are people who had gone to places; visit astrologers, predictors, or fortunetellers, to inquire about your star or destiny, whom they have been told what you would be or become in life (Jeremiah 1:4,5).
• As Herod would not want the Baby Jesus to live, when he heard about how great and glorious His Star was, through what was seen by the astrologers or magis. Such people also would not want you to be what God had originally planned or intended you to be—would not want God's purpose or plan for your life to be fulfilled.
• Note: God has a great and glorious plan for your life, as earlier said. God has not created you for endless sufferings—you are not created to be a waste on the planet earth.
• The reason why things have not been working the way it should, could be because your star had been tampered with.
• Some might have determined, agreed with the devil, to make the purpose and plan of God for your life unfulfilled.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• Whatever may be the hold of the enemy in your life, such is broken and completely destroyed, never to rise again in Jesus' mighty name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
