THE STRONGHOLDS IN THE MIND 2

4 FOR the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God FOR PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS, 5 CASTING DOWN ARGUMENTS AND EVERY HIGH THING THAT EXALTS ITSELF AGAINST THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD, BRINGING EVERY THOUGHT INTO CAPTIVITY TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST."
2 Corinthians 10:4–5 (NKJV)

• Some thoughts are considered to be prophetic, thinking to be from God, but such are suggestions from the devil and demons.

• When such words are accepted to be of God and from God, It becomes a ground for the devil or demons to operate from or through.
• Mostly, when soothsayers or fortunetellers or false prophets speak; what they say or tell or prophesy is not always true or genuine, but a suggestion or guess from the devil or a demon.
• When the person accepted the supposed prophecy as a true or genuine prophesy and anticipating the fulfilment of it, the devil or demons behind it would orchestrate events that would confirm it or make it a reality.
  MOST of the demonic prophecies are brought to fulfilment or fulfilled through this process.
• When a believer's mind is saturated or preoccupied with the Word of God, the principles of the Bible, It sanctifies and purges the mind, get rid of the debris or dirtiness in the thoughts that had been built as strongholds.
• Thus, when a suggestion from the devil or any demon, or a supposed prophecy from the devil or any demon comes in, It would be easily spotted out because It would be contradictory to the proper way of thinking of the person—the believer.

• Consequently, the best way to put a believer's mind in a proper condition is to constantly feed the mind with the Word of God, edifying content that are biblically based.

• It is either you are reading the Word of God, the Bible, or an edifying book from a proven author, and a soul lifting or an edifying song, or whatever content online that is consistent with the Bible.
• If your life is lived thus, as mentioned above, your mind or head would be saturated or preoccupied with the Word of God, or biblical content and principles you needed to guide and direct your path in life.
• If your mind is filled or equipped as shared here, It would be a bit difficult for the devil or any demon to have a foothold in your mind. However, If it was not; the opposite would be the case.
  a. When any strange thought is injected or suggested by the devil or any demon from outside, or is projected by an agent of the devil, It would easily be noticed or known or identified because you would know It is not consistent with your line or pattern of thought.
  b. When it is not your usual way of thinking, you would immediately know that the thought is strange and It must have been injected or suggested from outside by a demon or an agent of the devil through a demon that works with him or her.

• Evil things are suggested or predicted by the devil or demons, in which a believer would think It was a revelation or an intuition from the the Holy Spirit via the inward Man—his or her human spirit—but not.

• The devil or a demon might be painting an illusionary future in your mind, suggesting an ambiguous and unrealistic future that could make your Head swollen or blown up; but If such thought is believed or accepted to be from God, It becomes an illusion.
• It becomes a ground through which the devil, a demon, operated from. It means you have unwittingly or unknowingly or unconsciously given a place to the devil to manipulate or control your life while you are thinking that you are being led or guided by God's voice and your future is being revealed to you, whereas, It is an illusion.
• If you live not your life in line with the Bible, feeding your mind with the Word of God and living by its principles, you would be allowed to reap the fruit of being indifference to the Word of God—because you did not receive the love for the truth, you would be deluded:
  9 THE COMING OF THE LAWLESS ONE IS ACCORDING TO THE WORKING OF SATAN, WITH ALL POWER, SIGNS, AND LYING WONDERS, 10 AND WITH ALL UNRIGHTEOUS DECEPTION AMONG THOSE WHO PERISH, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH, THAT THEY MIGHT BE SAVED. 11 AND FOR THIS REASON GOD WILL SEND THEM STRONG DELUSION, THAT THEY SHOULD BELIEVE THE LIE" (2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 NKJV).

• Through consistent feeding on the Word of God and unceasing prayers, you build a barrier or defence against any strange thought or delusionary thought that might be a ground or stronghold through which the devil operates In your life.

• The feeding on the Word of God and the practicing of it, plus unceasingly praying in the spirit, you curb or build a defence to protect your mind from the devil and his cohorts' invasions in your life. These are the major ways to combat him and refuse him an access into your life.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• The hold is totally broken and the Affliction will never rise again in Jesus' mighty name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

• If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
