“GOD IS SO GREAT—higher than the heavens, higher than the farthest stars."
Job 22:12 (NLT)

"AND WE KNOW THAT IN ALL THINGS GOD WORKS FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM, who have been called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:28 (NIV)

• Greatness of God cannot be compared with any. He is higher than the heavens; the firmament and the farthest stars—all the heavenly bodies.

  • Whatever you are passing through should not be magnified than God, If you did, it would overwhelm you.
  • God the Maker of all things can fix whatever the problem or need in your life; family or whatever.
  • When you have challenges, do not see God as your enemy. He is not, thus, stop murmuring and complaining (1 Corinthians 10:10,11).

• Do not quarrel, or be angry, with God, He is not against you:
21 “QUIT QUARRELING WITH GOD! AGREE WITH HIM AND YOU WILL HAVE PEACE AT LAST! HIS FAVOUR WILL SURROUND YOU IF YOU WILL ONLY ADMIT THAT YOU WERE WRONG. 23 IF YOU RETURN TO GOD AND PUT RIGHT ALL THE WRONG IN YOUR HOME, THEN YOU WILL BE RESTORED" (Job 22:21,23 (the Living Bible).

  • If things seem difficult and unbearable, at the time of distress, do not look elsewhere for help apart from God. THOSE who hasten after other gods always had their sorrows multiplied (Psalm 16:4).
  • In some cases, you might not know why God has allowed some things. Job was not happy about what happened to him, he was devastated, overwhelmed and stunned. He started questioning God!
  • If you are truly loved by God, and He has special purpose for your life; He might take you through different things in the journey of faith in life which might cause you think of challenging His integrity and justice.
  • In the predicaments of Job, he did believe that he was being punished by God unjustly, because he could not see the reason why God would allow him to pass through the things he was passing through.
  • Through different things which you are allowed to pass through in life, you learn how to walk with God the more.
THINGS you are permitted to go through are meant to help your walk, your fellowship, with God—you learn more about God through such encounters.

• Main purpose of serving God should not be about meeting your needs only, God wants it to go beyond that.

  • It might be all right to come to God because of one need or another in your life, and He definitely would meet the need. But He would want you to grow or get beyond that level in your walk with Him.
  • Some lost their blessings when they could not understand the difference between God the Giver of blessings, and the blessings which they received from Him.
  • Whatever you had, came from God, and it can only be kept through your relationship with Him. Thus, do not give place to complacency and lukewarmness when abundance comes in your life.

• The more the challenges you go through in life, as a believer in Christ Jesus, the deeper your understanding of God.

  • Things that are passed through in life, as a believer, deepened your knowledge of God; If you allowed yourself to be taught through them.
THAT is, If you opened your heart and allowed the Holy Spirit to teach you the lessons that are meant to learn in the challenges (James 1:3,4).
  • A lot of things would be learnt that would strengthen and deepen your communion with God, If you cooperate with Him in whatever you are being taken through in your Christian journey in life.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Whatever is contrary to your health is rebuked and uprooted in Jesus' name.
  • You are made whole, and Affliction is far from you from now onwards in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION

IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).

b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
