GOD BEING UNDERSTOOD BY THE THINGS THAT ARE MADE
"FOR SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD HIS INVISIBLE ATTRIBUTES ARE CLEARLY SEEN, BEING UNDERSTOOD BY THE THINGS THAT ARE MADE, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse."
Romans 1:20 (NKJV)
Comment: God's invincible attributes are said to be seen through His creations. His existence can be deduced or seen through His handiwork according to the above Scripture (Romans 1:20).
Those who are:
Atheist: a person who believes that God does not exist.
Agnostic: one who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God—
Such who claimed not to believe that God exists have no any excuse (Romans 1:20).
Most of the people who come to this conclusion that God does not exist or it is impossible to know the reality of God's existence:
a. got to such thinking through knowledge acquisition. Such people have read some things that distorted their minds and their views about life and other things.
b. Whilst a group out of such people are disgruntled; they are disappointed one way or another, thinking God has let them down, thus, they are not sure of His existence or He does not exist at all.
Albeit, regardless of any person's experience, things that are made by God speak of His existence:
1 THE HEAVENS PROCLAIM THE GLORY OF GOD. THE SKIES DISPLAY HIS CRAFTSMANSHIP. 2 DAY AFTER DAY THEY CONTINUE TO SPEAK; NIGHT AFTER NIGHT THEY MAKE HIM KNOWN. 3 THEY SPEAK WITHOUT A SOUND OR WORD; THEIR VOICE IS NEVER HEARD. 4 YET THEIR MESSAGE HAS GONE THROUGHOUT THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO ALL THE WORLD. GOD HAS MADE A HOME IN THE HEAVENS FOR THE SUN" (Psalm 19:1-4 NLT).
No experience can negate the Word of God, the Bible.
You might be offended, thinking that God has disappointed you in life, one time or another; as a result of that; you concluded that God does not exist.
Your persuasion or experience does not change the fact that God does exist. If you did not believe in God's existence, billions of other people do.
When the religious leaders; the Pharisees and Sadducees, complained about the disciples who were praising God when He was entering Jerusalem, riding on a donkey; Jesus told them If those disciples did not do that—praise God—the stones would immediately cry out to do that—praise God (Luke 19:36-40).
Things made by God give enough evidence of His existence. Thus, If you had reached that conclusion that God does not exist because you are disgruntled and disappointed; I want to enjoin you to have a rethink of your decision. God is still calling you to come to Him. He loves you, only that you do not know. Thus, today is the day of salvation, tomorrow might be too late: "IN THE SCRIPTURES GOD SAYS, “WHEN THE TIME CAME, I LISTENED TO YOU, AND WHEN YOU NEEDED HELP, I CAME TO SAVE YOU.” THAT TIME HAS COME. THIS IS THE DAY FOR YOU TO BE SAVED" (2 Corinthians 6:2 Contemporary English Version).
