DO NOT GIVE UP IN THE MIDST OF CHALLENGES
“SO AI BECAME A PERMANENT MOUND OF RUINS, desolate to this Very day.”
Joshua 8:28 (NLT)
• God will fight for you and you will hold your peace (Exodus 14:14).
- The place of those who would not want the people of God to possess the land God has promised them, those who rose as the adversaries, became desolate.
- World is not a bed of roses. The devil is real and his activities are real (Revelation 12:9,17). The devil would always want to obstruct or stand on the way of a believer who is gunning—aiming at or going after the heaven sent assignment—with full determination or effort: " . . . THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN SUFFERS VIOLENCE, AND THE VIOLENT TAKE IT BY FORCE" (Matthew 11:12 NKJV).
- There is a measure of force or pressing that has to be applied in getting things done, as a believer in Christ Jesus: "THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS WERE UNTIL JOHN. SINCE THAT TIME THE KINGDOM OF GOD HAS BEEN PREACHED, AND EVERYONE IS PRESSING INTO IT" (Luke 16:16 NKJV).
- You make things happen, you would have to enforce the counsel or Will of God to be established, through the authority that has been given to you in Christ Jesus (Luke 10:19; Matthew 16:19).
• Nothing happens by chance.
- Whatever would happen, would be made happen by being determined and resolute in praying.
- You enforce what God has told you, what He said to be done, through your faith and prayer. The Word of God, promises of God, is appropriated through persistent prayer.
- God does not want His own children, believers in Christ Jesus, live independently of Him. Thus, He does not want you to fight for yourself (Matthew 5:39-41; Romans 12:17-19).
- Rather, He wants you to keep Him abreast of—telling Him about—the progress of things, the development, in your journey; on whatever the assignment given to you.
- Know that you will be challenged. Your authority in Christ Jesus would be challenged; be tested and proved.
- Your land of inheritance is being occupied by illegal occupiers, and they had to be dislodged.
• Kingdom of God.
- You must be gentle as dove, wise as serpent (Matthew 10:16), and be bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1).
- You must not be chicken-hearted, but lion-hearted—brave and courageous.
- The fight we are called to fight is the fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12). The devil would want us to doubt what God said would be, but believers had to stand in faith and declare what God has said.
- You resist the devil and say no to his operations: "THEREFORE SUBMIT TO GOD. RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU" (James 4:7 NKJV).
- Stand to defend your cause, that you may possess your land of inheritance.
• God is with you in your bidding to take the land apportioned you by Him.
- Nothing happens by chance, and there is no luck in life; what we have in God's Kingdom on earth are miracles, not luck. Miracles happen by working them out through prayer and the practice of the Word of God.
- You make things happen through prayer. In other words, the blessings and promises of God in the Bible are appropriated through prayer, being persistent in it, and the practice of the Word of God—the Bible.
- Weapons of our warfare are not carnal (2 Corinthians 10:4):
a. The Word of God.
b. Fasting and praying. Taking time to pray and intercede with fasting.
c. Build a strong fellowship or communion with God.
d. Hearing from God.
GET to know God's mind; know His Will, and His plan before you embark on any assignment.
BE sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit on the inside of you.
e. Faith is a weapon you need, in order to overcome. You would have to develop or build your faith, and live by it, that you may be able to stand the wiles of the devil in the day of evil (Ephesians 6:10-12).
f. The principle of Giving—Seed sowing—should also be given priority. It should be part of the cores, things you practice consistently.
g. God will take you a step at a time in the journey of life (Deuteronomy 7:22; James 1:2,3).
YOU might be allowed or permitted to face challenges through which you learn a number of things.
SUCH would be a training that would be of help in whatever assignment God has for you.
AND how you handle the challenges determines your placement in the Kingdom.
YOUR loyalty would be tested!
• Take your walk with God seriously.
- Whatever you come out to be in life—as a believer—to some extent would be a product of the quality of your communion with God.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- Hold of sicknesses is completely broken in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Peace!
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
